Linda Gayle Felt Lamborn (1945-1999)

Linda Gayle Felt Lamborn, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister passed away unexpectedly May 6, 1999. She endured many years of heart problems due to the complications from rheumatic fever.

Linda was born, along with her twin sister, Leah, to Hardy and Frances Felt on December 17, 1945 in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1964. She married her eternal sweetheart Edwin Lamborn June 25, 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple.  They were blessed with four children.  Linda has taught children with learning disabilities for twenty-five years, most recently at Highland Park Elementary School.

She had a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, having served faithfully in every auxiliary.  She loved genealogy and to attend the temple.

Mom's favorite times were spent with her family snowmobiling, fishing and camping.  She had an incredible talent for writing and had written numerous personal and family histories for the Felt and Lamborn families.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and selfless service to her family, friends and students.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Lamborn and her mother and best-friend, Frances Felt; her children and spouses, Elisa and Ken Clifford, Charles and Lisa Lamborn, Jason and Kemra Lamborn, Kenneth and Tammy Lamborn; her precious grandchildren, Chase, Kamille, Erika, Kaitlyn, Caitlin, Madeline, Everett and Amber; sisters, Leah Spencer and Deborah Tucker; brothers Lamont Felt and Gary Felt. Also survived by a HUGE extended family. She has been reunited with her father, Hardy Felt, and granddaughter, Chelsie Lamborn.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11 1999, 12 noon, in the Riviera Ward, 601 Mansfield Avenue (3135 So.) A viewing will be held Monday, May 10, 1999, 6-8 p.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 So. State Street, and at 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the services at the ward. Interment will be at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, N Street and 4th Ave.
