I met Kip during my senior year at Olympus in German class. That was a fun and zany group for sure with Roy Meacham drawing his classic cartoons depicting our teacher "Herr Schmidt" in various adventures. We did not learn alot of Deutch but we sure had fun! Kip became one of my best friends from those days forward into college keeping in touch even though he became an "Aggie" and I a "Ute". I remember dragging State in the summer months with him when he owned a new 66' GTO convertable. That  was the best car for meeting girls and havin summer fun with Beach Boy & Beatle tunes blaring from his 8-track stereo. We travelled once to Wyoming in this car hitting speeds of 150 MPH. I recall stopping to get gas and noticed his tires were bald ! Consequently, I made him drive the speed limit until we got back home. Kip was a very humerous and fun to be with at all times. I never heard him say a hateful or spiteful thing about anyone. He loved his skiing and especially rafting trips, and I now wish I had not worked all summer so I could have gone with him on these river trip adventures. His passing is much too soon and it saddened me greatly to hear about it.

R.I.P  Rabbit !

This is such sad news to me.  I remember Kip back to Kindergarten.  We were never close friends, but I wish that we had been.
