I recently retired. I managed Short Term Intensive Training for Salt Lake Community College, the program provides training for employees of companies. Previously I worked in education. Teaching Learning-for-Life in the central city schools. Worked in administration in healthcare, and managed a trucking company with forty long-haul drivers.
I raised four awesome children.
They opened the door to being a soccer coach, swim team mom, snow skiing instructor, water skiing instructor and tennis partner. (I cannot forget serving on the PTA Board.)
I have eight beautiful grandchildren and one on the way.
Civic and Community service included:
serving on the Executive Board for the Utah Symphony Guild,
Board member of Friendship Force International,
United States Ambassador for Friendship Force to India,
Member of American Association for Women in Community Colleges,
American Society of Training and Development
I love every place that I have traveled.
I was an ambassador representing the United States in a home-stay in India. This was an amazing experience to live with doctors, (husband and wife) and see Nashik, India. The history and culture was an opportunity I was so fortunate to experience and loved the people. I traveled from Mumbai to New Dehli and Jaipur. With a history major from the University of Utah, with an emphasis in South Asia, this was a dream come true to go there.
Other exciting places of travel have been to China, Japan, Israel, Cyprus, Chile, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico and throughout the United States.
I thought it was so fun our sophomore year when the students who went to Skyline attended Olympus. Crowded halls but a lot of fun.

Margaret, I have to say what an amazing person you are. Those of us who are fortunate with great health at our age know how blessed we are. But what is really outstanding is how through your kind thoughts and words you make a great impact on the lives of others. Your love and concern for people is more impressive.
